Special
Issue of IJITWE on Advances in eLearning Technologies: Agents and Grid
Computing Perspectives (incorporating ICCES-ATGCeL'08)
With the advances in eLearning
technologies and their ever increasing requirements, agent and grid computing
technologies have been explored in many ways. The aim of this session is to
bring together researchers from these technologies to showcase their research
and developments. In doing so, it aims to provide a platform and forum for
discussion between technologists and educationalists.
The special issue
aim to give a forum to researchers to report on new advances and original
research on eLearning technologies with specific focus on software agents and
grid computing. Both of these technologies, agents and grids, are becoming
widely applied in the eLearing systems. The scope of the special issue will
cover both theoretical and applied issues of these technologies in developing
the new generations of eLearning technologies.
The special issue topics of interest are, but not limited to:
Agent Technologies:
Grid Computing
Participation on other aspects of eLearning, e.g. natural language processing for intelligent interfaces and user profiling are equally welcomed and encouraged.
