A Special Issue in
International Journal of Information Technology and Web Engineering
on eLearning.
With the advances in eLearning technologies and their ever increasing requirements, agent and grid computing technologies have been explored in many ways. The aim of this session is to bring together researchers from these technologies to showcase their research and developments. In doing so, it aims to provide a platform and forum for discussion between technologists and educationalists.
The session will be followed by a panel discussion on eLearning in the Middle East where private higher education has been on the increase with demands for and restrictions on eLearning.
The session topics of interest are, but not limited to:
Agent Technologies:
Grid Computing
Participation on other aspects of eLearning, e.g. natural language processing for intelligent interfaces and user profiling are equally welcomed and encouraged.
Special conference fees arrangement
The conference organizer has kindly agreed to give 10% discount on the
conference normal registration fees to the themed track
authors/participants.
Publication
In addition to paper publication in the conference proceedings, which
are included in IEEEXplore database, journal special issue(s) are
planned. We already have special issue arranged with
International Journal of Information Technology and Web Engineering.
A special discussion panel will follow the session. The panel will be inspired by the research presented at the session but extends to strategic issues of eLearning and eLearning technologies in the Middle East. More information about the panel and speakers to follow.
